Repurposed Shipping Container

I decided to make my shipping container into a restaurant. Over Covid I lived in Ocean Grove, NJ for a few months and if you have ever been there you know about the huge boardwalk that stretches for miles along the beach. On this boardwalk they have a whole bunch of restaurants made out of storage containers. These restaurants serve everything from crepes to Cheese fries. Anyway, I used to love going to these restaurants, especially during covid since there outside, so I was inspired to take everything I enjoyed from these restaurants and combine them into one perfect storage container restaurant. For my first step I just added the basic design for the restaurant. I gave it an awning and some chairs along with some minor changes to make it feel more like a restaurant.

I envisioned my restaurant to be a sort of traditional fast food restaurant with burgers, hot dogs, fries and things like that. My restaurant would need the proper facilities to make this food so I added a stove for cooking and a table for preparing ingredients. The restaurant would also need plates and cups so I added some of those along with a sink to wash the dishes.

I envisioned my restaurant to be on the beach or in a park in a nice warm place. Due tp this I created an open seating area with a picnic table to sit on and a lot of open grassy area so that someone could lay down a blanket and have a picnic. I also created a little bar area attached to the shipping container. When you sit at this bar you can see into the restaurant through the open window and you can eat your food underneath the awning if its to sunny.
