Repurposed Book Picture Display (frame)

Transform an old book into a picture display (like a frame) using inexpensive Turn Buttons.

This project takes 5 minutes once you have materials.

Supplies

Turn buttons, buy new for multiple projects or repurpose from old frames.

Old book.

Drill (used 1/16” for small turn buttons)

Your picture or use a standard photo size such as 5”x 7”

Mark drill holes based on your picture size and Turn Button size. Drill holes.

For small turn buttons, I used 1/16” diameter drill.

Put your photo on the book. Attach Turn Buttons using a small screwdriver to grasp edges of photo. May need to use eyeglass repair driver depending on your screw head size.

Do not tighten yet.

Rotate the turn buttons to secure the photo. Torque screws to apply pressure to hold photo.
