Replacing a Car Door Jamb Switch.
This switch on the driver door gets the most use in my car. It has been acting up lately causing my car assistant to toggle between an open and closed door condition. Time to replace this 17year old switch.
Removing the Old Switch.
First the rubber jacket needs to be peeled back and the screw removed. Only a single wire connects to this. Once disconnected it's time for the next step.
Installing the New Switch.
Very little brain and muscle work involved here. Installation is the reverse of removal and now the car has a new door jamb switch! Took only 5 minutes.
