Replace a Notebook DC Jack

In this video I show you how to replace a worn out DC jack on a Dell Insperon notebook.  The steps are pretty much universal. I have seen some notebooks in which the jack is not located on the main board, but a separate power board. If your unit is like the latter, I suggest replacing the whole power board if you are not skilled at soldering.
