Repair Hamiliton Beach Brew Station

The coffee dispense bar broke under a year of using it. I made a new one out of a coat hanger, shrink tube, dowel rod piece and a firm piece of plastic. Ignore the pizza box advertising lol Redneck engineering at it's finest the lady needed her coffee. Gotta do something other than killing spiders ya?
Supplies
Wire Coat Hanger
Dowel Rod
Shrink Tube
Heat Source (lighter?)
Wire cutters/Plyers
Drill/bit
Something to cut dowel

Bend coat hanger into this shape

Cut dowel to length for handle. Cover with shrink tube and shrink with lighter.

Install with plastic piece holding it to the body with the screws under the control panel.

Pour you some coffee with new pull bar instead of pushing. Works just as well with no burning fingers. This is the second fix I've done on this coffee maker. The original one was the coffee holder leaking. The rubber gasket gets warped from long times of keeping hot. I used a plastic card cut to size as a buffer/gasket to close the gap.
