Here is how to make an old toilet flush handle look new again without replacing it. The handle/lever usually last long, but chrome paint become dull or damage over time. Transform an old toilet handle simply with a can of spray; any color you want.
Remove Handle

Take off the lid, unscrew the handle nut and pull out the
handle.
Clean and Dry

Clean thoroughly and dry it before spray painting.
Paint With Spray Can

Tips:
Apply multiple thin coat, 3-5 coats of paint.
Allow the paint to cure for 5 minutes between each coat.
Make sure you shake the spray can to get even color every time you spray.
Allow the final coat of paint to cure for 24 hours.
Attach the Handle

Allow the handle to dry for 24 hours before attaching it.
