Renaissance Frame Replica

This frame was created from a 3D scan of a part of an old frame from Palmer Museum of Arts.

The process started by 3D scanning a corner of a frame form Palmer Museum of Art. Then the full 3D model was created from the scan of the corner piece.
I used the CNC router to mill the model out of a block of foam.
The milled foam was then covered with plaster and paint.
