Remote Control Hockey
I am a sophomore student from Dublin Jerome Highschool and I designed a remote control air hockey game! Instead of hitting the hockey puck like normally, you can control it with a remote control!
Supplies
All you need to design this is Fusion360!
Create the Table
To create the table, first, make a rectangle with a height of 14 inches and a length of 10 inches. Then, extrude it around 3 inches. After that, create the legs by selecting the bottom plane of the table and creating a 1 by 1in square. Lastly, extrude the square by 10 inches. Repeat on each corner of the table for a total of four legs.
Details to Table
After creating the base of the table, you need to include details such as walls around the table and a slot for the hockey puck to go into. To make the walls, you must extrude/cut a 13in by 9.3 in rectangle into the top table part. Next, extrude/cut a 3.4in by .5in rectangle into the walls of two sides directly across each other. These are the slots for the puck.
Remote Control
To create the remote controls, you need to create a design using the fit point spline. Then, extrude the shape 3in.
Details to Remote Controls
The remote control needs off, on, and movement buttons. To do so, create two .7in circles and extrude them by .2in on each remote. Then create a 1.4in circle and extrude it by .2in. After that, use the plane on top of the bigger circle and create a cross using the line tool. Extrude the cross by .2in.
Hockey Puck
Next, create a 3in circle and extrude it by .3in. This is the hockey puck!
Add Color
Finally, make the pieces different colors. To make the remote controls two different colors, use the appearance tool to make them into a different material. One control is aluminum anodized glossy red and the other is aluminum anodized glossy blue. The hockey puck is aluminum anodized glossy grey and the table is aluminum satin.
