This project is a reminder safety box. The purpose of this safety box is to remind you to bring the things you need when you go out. The safety box is locked with shoes inside, so when you get ready to wear your shoes, you have to first press the three buttons on the box, making sure you brought each of those items. The first button is wallet, so you make sure you have your wallet in your bag and then you press the button, and same for the second one. The third one is mask, so after you make sure you have it and you press the button, the door will unlock, so the box can be opened and you can now get your shoes and wear it. If you want to lock the door again, just press the third button again, close the door, and it will automatically lock up.

Making the Box

IMG_3193.jpg

First, take a box (cardboard box, shoe box are both fine) and trim the opening side (the door) so that it can open and close like a fridge. Put your breadboard into the box and tape it to the box so it won't move around.

Micro Servo

Then, place the micro servo onto the inside of the door. Cut a hole next to the micro servo so one end of it can stick outside the box, which will lock the box.

Button

Next, on the door, cut three holes so the button can be placed sticking out from the inside of the box.
