Reimagining the Outdoors

This is a reimagined classroom located in nature which gives kids a leaning experience about the outdoors. I used ARCHICAD and Floorplanner.com to make this design.

Create the basic layout in ARCHICAD, or any other software to show where the details can go. Use it to get a feel for the basic layout and measurements. .

Move to Floorplanner.com to make use of their specific items and create detail, as shown in the inside.

Detail the inside with lab counters and tanks while leaving room for microscopes, test tubes, and other lab or science classroom equipment.

Add a conservatory roof to let in lots of natural light and gutters to make use of the rainwater to water the plants.

Add a detailed back side to the classroom filled with planters and rain barrels to collect the rainwater that runs off of the roof.

Detail the front side with tables to sit at as well as great learning tools like a whiteboard. Make the space feel like it fits in the outdoors with an educational angle. Now you are finished!
