Refurbished Shoe Shine Box

Refurbish an old shoe shine box to keep all of your shoe maintenance supplies on one spot.

Find an old shoe shine box in disrepair.

Disassemble and remove hardware.

Glue cracks and broken pieces.

Use a sander to quickly remove the finish.

Quickly hand sand the surfaces with higher grain sand paper.

Wipe the surfaces clean with a moist rag to remove all the dust.

Put a good coat of stain on the box inside and out.

Coat the box with polyurethane and allow to dry. Apply a second coat.

Fasten the hardware to the box.

Fill the shoe box with supplies and oil up your boots.
