Today I will be explaining how to make delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookies in a few simple steps!

Materials Needed:

Ingredients: 2 cups of all purpose flour, 3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 and 1/4 cups of softened butter, 2 cups of sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1 and 2/3 cups of Reece's peanut butter chocolate chips (basically the entire bag, but still measure).

You will also need an oven, a mixer, a flat surface, baking sheets, and something to use for mixing with your hand (like a fork or a handheld egg beater).

Preheating the Oven and Mixing

You want to start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After that you stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, and the unsweetened cocoa with the handheld mixer referred to in the instructions (if you don't have anything good the just use a fork but it will take longer). Once they look like the photo above this step they are finished.

Mixing

Start by adding the sugar and the softened butter into the mixer bowl (to soften put in a microwave for 20 seconds and if it isn't softened then put it in for 10 seconds and repeat until softened). Mix the sugar and butter and slowly add the unsweetened cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt mixture in as it goes. After all of that mixture is poured in, you pour the chocolate chips in slowly. Once the mixture looks like the photo above this step you are done.

Making the Cookies.

First you want to make balls of the mixture make in the previous step and lay them on the tray with a good amount of space in between them (depending on the size of your baking sheet). The size varies but I would recommend the size in the picture above this step (the hand is for scale). Since I am recommending that size, I am only going to give instructions for that size, but I will say that if you make the cookies larger you probably will cook them longer. Anyways, once you have loaded up all the trays you can, you put them in your oven for about 8 minutes. Once the time is up you want to check them by poking them with a fork, if it easily goes all the way through and the cookies seem to be airy and crispy, they are done (wait for them to cool down before removing from the pan with either a spatula or anything else flat you can wedge under it carefully). If the cookie seems to be somewhat moist and moves more when you poke it, you want to put them back in for as long as you feel is necessary depending on how moist/uncooked they are.

Final Product.

The image above this step is what they should look like after cooled, if they don't it's probably either my fault for not giving enough information, or a mistake was made during baking. Anyways, I hope the turned out alright and ENJOY!

Also thanks to Reese's.
