Ingredients
2 sticks butter
2 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
2 ounces red food coloring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl beat together the softened butter and sugar
Add the eggs
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa
Put the flour mixture into the egg mixture and mix
Pour the milk into the batter and mix
Pour the vanilla and red food coloring into the same bowl
Pour batter into a pan and bake for 20 minutes

Cream Cheese Frosting
Ina medium bowl, cream together 2 packages of cream cheese and 1 stick butter
Mix in a teaspoon of vanilla and stir in 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
Store in refrigerator after use
