Red Beans and Rice With Sausage

This is the full version where I walk you through the steps one by one.
STEP BY STEP
- Add onions to the pan with oil and sweat on medium heat for about 5 minutes (Stirring)
- Add a little water to the pan then add 1lb of red beans
- Add more water until covering red beans by 2 inches
- Season with:
- Salt
- Red pepper
- Black pepper
- paprika
- Bay leaf
- Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 1 hour
- Add smoked sausage and lil smokies, stir then cover.
- Bring back up to a simmer
- Let cook for 2-3 more hours or until beans are tender
- Server over rice and ENJOY!!
