Making (Recycling) a Magazine Pouch Out of Trash
In this instructable, I am making a magazine pouch out of trash. Some unused items (garbage) are recycled to make a magazine pouch for my AKDAL MKA1919 semi automatic shotgun. Similar method could be used for rifle magazine pouches.
This series is prepared in order to emphasize the importance of recycling for us as well as for the planet. It will be shown that not only primitive things can be done with recycling, but also technological and fun things. This series intends to encourage people to recycle their garbage instead of throwing it and harm the ecological system on the earth.
Materials
To make the pouch, we need the following items:
- A plastic bottle
- A cloth bag
- A paper bag
- A Grommet setting tool
- A rubber string
- A segment of a bag belt
- Some glue
Preparing the Bottle
Cut the neck of the bottle and make some scratches on its lateral sides using a knife or a cutter. These scratches will help adhering the glue. Wipe the lateral sides of the bottle with some glue, and insert the bottle inside the cloth bag.
Preparing the Belt Hanger
Using the grommet setting tool, a segment of a bag belt, and a hot nail, attach the belt hanger to the pouch. Kindly note that the third grommet (found on both sides) is for the rubber string that will hold the magazine in the pouch.
Finalizing
Using the string of a paper bag, fix the lower side of the belt hanger (grommets can be used as well). The same string will be tampered with a rubber string. This part will be attached to the third grommet hole on both sides.
