Recycled Case Made Out of a T-shirt
Hello everyone,
I have not posted an instructables for some time now, but now that I have some more time on my hands I will try to post some more instructables. Well this is one of the little things that I came up with this last week. It is a case made out of an old T-shirt. This case is great for lots of things, it is great for a small camera or a Smartphone; but it has many other uses like you could hold a survival tin or lots of other things. I might make a smaller one with a belt loop to hold my Leatherman. The T-shirt that I used for this project was 50% polyester and 50% cotton so it has a different kind of a texture then if you just use a cotton T.
Now I will tell you the basics of how to make this thing in the steps that follow. If you don't understand how to do something or have a comment please just post a comment.
I don't have very detailed instructions but I will try to get some made and posted soon.

Lets Make It!
First you will need to make a knitted sheet out of your T-shirt. Get some T-shirt yarn and use a circular knitting loom to make a sheet. Just look up how to make t-shirt yarn and you will find lots of instructions on this . I just cut loops out of my t-shirt with no side seams and loop them together in a chain. but if you just want to use regular t-Shirt yarn thats fine to.
To make the knitted sheet just look up instructions online and make a sheet that can wrap around the object that you want to encase.
Sorry for not giving instructions on some of the steps but I just don't have the time right now when you can just look it up on the web. I might post more detailed instructions and a video when I get the time to do that.
Now after you have made your knitted sheet just fold it over and stitch up the open side and the bottom. Leave the top open so that you can slip your stuff in and out. After you have stitched up the side and the bottom take braided t-shirt cord and feed it through the top of the case so that it acts as a draw string of sorts for the case.
Soon I will be posting some new projects with more EZ to follow instructions so check soon!
