Recycled Indoor Garden

DSC_1285.jpg

This is a simple instructable; i wanted some plants indoors that could last all year long, so i grew some. :) In total, this project cost me 3 bucks. But depending on where you get seeds, it could cost cents!

Jars

Finding jars was simple. I used old candle jars, jelly jars, and spaghetti sauce jars.

Seeds

These are the seeds I used. 3$ for both of them at Dollar General. You'll need to grow something that won't get to big.

Dirt

I just got some dirt out of our outdoor garden. Or you can buy soil.

The marigolds popped up pretty quick. Within about 2 days. :)

Growing

Don't forget to water them, but not to much, since the jars dont have holes in the bottom.

Thats It!

Now I have quite a few plants on my windowsill, and even hanging from my ceiling. And they won't die in the winter! :)
