For a school project, we had to make a recycled herb garden. So here it is.

Supplies

Two 1 liter water bottles, three 6 inch pieces of string, and a piece of paper.

Cut on lines. Keep both top parts and the short bottom part.

Poke a large hole in the center of one cap with small holes surrounding. Tie the string in a knot about 2 inches from the end and feed it through the center hole. The short end of the string should stick out of the bottle if the cap was put back on.

Crumple the paper and poke a hole in the middle, the string will need to fit through. Then, put the paper into the shorter end with the cap and string. Press the paper on the sides of the bottle and feed the string through.

Spiral the string up through the soil and plant your seeds. Then place the smaller top half of the bottle into the smaller half of the bottom part that is holding the water. Then place the taller part of the bottle that you cut around the soil and there you go.
