Is your dog in need of a good, stable dog toy to play with? Well then these homemade recycled doggy chew toys are perfect for you! They are easy and simple to make, but will last for a very long time.
Supplies


To make this dog toy you will need:
- an old towel
- scissors
- ruler
- an old shoelace
- some elastic bands
Cut Strips

Use the scissors to cut the towel into 4 equal strips. Make sure that the strips are somewhat equally cut.
Roll Them Up

Take three of the strips and roll each one so that it is a sort of thin rope. Try to make it so that each strip has the same sort of width. You can use elastic bands or heavy objects to keep them rolled up while you roll up the others.
Tie Them Together

Tie the three rolled up strips at the end with an old shoelace so that they connect. Leave a bit of space from the end.
Plait Them

Now plait all the strips so that it makes one thick rope. Make sure that it is tightly intertwined.
Tie the Other End

Finally tie the other end up with the remains of the shoelace. Tie it tightly to make sure it doesn’t come undone.
Now you have your very own homemade dog toy. its strong recycled and most importantly your dog will love it.
