Story of RIB-D: RIB-D is a spy droid from the rebellion, made from scrap parts of destroyed imperial spy and probe droids. He is very small, allowing for getting into tight places, and is usually painted all black and grey to remain stealthy. He has hydraulic suction cups on his feet allowing him to stick to walls and climb around, gaining intel and reporting it back to the rebellion. Unfortunate for this little droid in particular, Sabine Wren got her hands on him and gave him a fabulous, but unstealthy paint job.

How I made him: I wanted to design my droid around the idea of a frog, an animal that has been frequently represented in the star wars universe. The overall design did change slightly through my modeling process. I really wanted to focus on the designs and greeblies that really make star wars feel star wars-y, however, I was also trying to make sure that the droid remained simple and sleek, given its job.
