Do you or someone you know seem to have an endless amount of recipes that they just printed off the internet?

if so than this is just the project for you.

Supplies

Tools

  • mitre saw
  • table saw
  • planer
  • sander
  • tape measure
  • hammer
  • clamps
  • jigsaw

Materials

  • wood glue
  • 1” finishing nails
  • One 1”x6” wood board (I used rough cut lumber of which has actual dimensions)

Size & Thickness

most printer paper measures 11’’ by 8 1/2’’ I decided to make the inside of the holder 1/2 an inch longer and 1/8 inch wider than the paper to make it easier to get the recipes out.

Cut or plane your board 1/4 of an inch thick (0.635 cm)

Make the Back

with your miter saw cut the board 11 1/2 inches long, do this twice. With your table saw rip the second one down to 2 5/8 inches wide, glue and clamp.

it should be 8 5/8” wide

Front

Make a strip of wood about 3/4” wide by 1/2” deep by 9 1/4” long

make another one 9 1/4” long by 2 3/8” wide and 1/4” thick.
