Realistic Axe Prop(easy)

if you're a real nature-open guy and you if have a large back yard/a family friendly local park, you probably seen a variety of sticks that are often found very sturdy. these are currently out of use, and it's also free. so, i'm going to try to take a normal unused stick and make it into a very cheap, easy axe prop that's very useful for halloween.

Supplies

you will need:

a stick(sturdy and thick, 35~45cm long)

3D printer and file

thin belt

black tape

sandpaper

decorative items(strings, rings, etc)

The Handle

get a long, thick(very)stick about 45cm long. wash it up, sandpaper it, wash it again and coat the stick with black tape here and there. it should be very easy.

The Blade

get a 3D printer and print out this at MAXIMUM size. after the print, get some sandpaper and sharpen the blade.

(not TOO sharp. just enough as a toy blade.)

Assembly & Decoration

finally, get out some thin, used belts and wrap the blade belt around the handle. if it's too weak, get out more black tape and wrap it once more. if you want to, decorate it with some colorful strings and rings to make a look of your own style.

Done!

it looks so cool! I'm very pleased how this project came out. now it's time to go trick or treating! this would work really good for grumpy neighbors who won't give out any candy. just yell "here's johnny!" and they'll be sure to give out SOME candy for you.
(just kidding. don't do that. seriously)
(did you notice that cool dart goblin mask? check that project out on my profile)
