Ram Ladoo

I am going to teach you how to make Ram Ladoo . A delicious mouth watering Indian snack for any occasion .

Ingredients

1. Green Gram Pulse 250 grams ( Moong Dhuli )

2. Salt to taste.

3. Cumin Seeds ( Jeera)

4. Oil to fry .

5. Tamarind Pulp

6. Rock salt

8 .Jaggery

9. Reddish

10. Chaat masala

Wash and soak Pulse for 2 hours in luke warm water.

Drain and blend the pulse with very little water and add salt to it .

Add Cumin seeds to it and leave it for for 2-4 hours in a warm place to ferment .

Once you feel it's fermented , Heat oil in a wok for deep frying .

Once the oil is heated up take little batter in your fingers as shown in the picture or a teaspoon and put it in wok .. Put 5-8 of them in the wok and lower the heat . After turning them once increase the heat and when they turn pinkish take them out .

Repeat the process with the rest of the batter .

For Tamarind sauce - Soak tamarind in water and leave it for 30 minutes .

Squeeze the pulp . Heat a frying pan . Add a tea spoon of oil to it , once it heats up and a spoon of cumin seeds to it . Once the seeds splutter put the pulp with equal amount of water in it . Bring it to boil and add jaggery , red chillie powder and salt as per taste. Let it thicken a little to pouring consistency and remove from fire . Let it cool .

Wash and grate Reddish in thin long strips . Keep it aside.

Serve the Ladoos in a plate . Pour the tamarind sauce on it and garnish it with Grated Reddish . Sprinkle some chaat masala on top of it and serve .Enjoy
