Rainbow Box

Make a rainbow clay box from a mini altoids tin.

Supplies

Mini altoids tin

Assorted colors of polymer clay

Pasta machine or rolling pin

A razor or other sharp cutting edge

Roll Clay

Roll each color into a log shape about half the diameter of a pencil and place them side by side. Gently push them together. Cut them so they are all the same length.

Flatten

Using your pasta machine or rolling pin flatten them into one thin sheet.

Cut

Place your tin on top and cut around it leaving enough extra to smooth around the edges. Drape this over your tin.

Smooth and Open

Smooth the clay down around the edges, Carefully open the tin to make sure clay is not in the way and close it again.

Cut the Top

Cut and smooth the top the same way you did the bottom.

Bake

Cover a cookie sheet with foil and bake according to the directions on your clay package.
