Rainbow Starry Night Lamp
This a Starry Night Lamp, but it's RAINBOW colored. So I got the idea make this project, while I was eating some crackers as I was thinking about this contest, when I saw an empty tin can outside the road, and took the idea to make holes on the tin can with colorful leds and turn it in to this project.
Supplies
- corrugated cardboard
- Fabric paint
- Empty tin can
- Popsicle sticks
- Super glue
- A switch
- DC motor
- LED (red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, white)
- 9v battery with holder
- Some wires
Paint the Tin Can
Paint the tin can according to a design with fabric paint.
Make Holes on the Tin Can
Use a drill or a nail with a hammer to make the holes.
Making the Stand
Cut out a 2 circles size of the tin can, then cut a long strip of the board and paste them together according to the above pictures. Next you can paint it as you want and stick the switch to the stand.
Supporting the Motor
Use the popsicle sticks to make a cross or a plus sigh and attach it to the inside top of the can. Then use the drill or the nail with hammer to make a tiny hole to attach the motor as show in the photos. Next paste two papsicle sticks to the side of the motor and top part of the stand as shows in the photos at the top.
Wiring the Components
Use the wires to connect the components together, here is the circuit diagram I made using Thinker cad below. And you must attach the led on the top of the stand according to a circle.
The Finished Project
These are the images of the finished result and below is a video of it. This my very first Instructible, I hope you guys enjoy and understood the explanation.
