We need:

  • jelly (multiple colours and flavors)
  • cooking oil
  • cake mould (it's better if it's made of silicone)
  • a pot to boil the water
  • a measuring jar
  • coconut milk
  • condensed milk

Spread the Cooking Oil

The first thing we have to do is to spread the cooking oil in the mould (this will be important at the end).

The following will boil 100ml of water along with gelatin (red) and stir, and then mix other 100ml of cold water.

important (the box indicates 250ml but we will only use 100ml to achieve greater consistency)

We will put just the half of the jelly in the mold to make the first colour of our rainbow. Then leave it on the freezer for 25 minutes.

Make the Gradient!

Then it’s necessary to add 2 tablespoons of coconut milk and condensed milk on the other half of the jelly. This will make an orange layer. Leave it on the freezer again for 25 minutes. We will repeat this process with each colour.

Orange to Yellow!

We prepare our jelly (Orange), put half of it in the mold and leave it in the freezer. After that, we add 2 tablespoon of condensed milk and 2 tablespoon of coconut milk on the other half, incorporate at the mold and put it in the freezer again.

We prepare our jelly (Blue), put half of it in the mold and leave it
in the freezer. After that, we add 2 tablespoon of condensed milk and 2 tablespoon of coconut milk on the other half, incorporate at the mold and put it in the freezer again & try to get the (Indigo) color.

...Last but not least, we will prepare our (Violet) jelly. This time we will prepare all the pack (without coconut milk or condensed milk). This is important to get a strong structure to our dessert.

Unmold & Enjoy!

You have to leave it in the fridge (not freezer) for 1 day. Separate the borders carefully and unmold onto a large plate.

That’s all! I hope you do this instructable at home and enjoy this delicious dessert as much as I did. See you!
