I will show you how you can make this cool looking radar using the Arduino Board and the Processing Coding Environment. This Code Connects Arduinos Ultrasonic Sensor Equipment to visualize what the radar detects on Processing.

All you need for this Arduino Project is an Ultrasonic Sensor for detecting the objects, a small hobbyist Servo Motor for rotating the sensor and an Arduino Board for controlling them. You can watch the following video or read the written tutorial below.

Supplies

Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04

Servo Motor

Breadboard

Jump Wires

Arduino IDE

Processing Application

Use to find which Serial Port your Arduino is connected to then connect the One that is reciving data from your Arduino

__________ import processing.serial.*; // The serial port Serial myPort; // List all the available serial ports printArray(Serial.list()); __________

End

The End result should resemble this. Detecting Things from 5-30 cm away from the Sensor.
