Rabbit Head Knot

Makes a nice two loop lanyard or zipper pull

You will notice that the line that if you pulling on the top strand of either loop will adjust its size. When the knot is tied in cotton or other natural cordage friction keeps the loops stable. It is advisable to keep the loads on both loops even. Do not use slippery cordage because the loops might slip out of kilter.

"Knots, useful and ornamental" by Shaw, MCMXXIV.

Midle your cord and make a loop.

Bring the loop down atop the crossing point.

Bring the right hand end up forming a bight.

Bring the left lhand end up forming a bight.

Bring the right hand end down going under three strands and up through the bight.

Bring the left hand end down going under three strands and up through the bight.
