RPG Game Meant to Teach Mental Math

This is an RPG game that teaches mental math. (I am attending Faraview highschool)

Character Cards

The Character cards are the creators you play as. For this card in the game, my inspiration was a nine-tailed fox. I used a fox as a reference for making this card and sketched it on paper. Then upload the image of your sketch into the free sketch app. Some apps may not allow this. After uploading the image trace the lines for your line work then add color and shading. You can skip the paper sketch step, but I have a harder time doing line work digitally so whatever is easiest.

Protection, Defense, and Creature Tree Cards

There are four sets of protection and the creature tree. There is a sword, a staff, and a wand. each one has three levels of effectiveness level three being the highest. These three protect and cause damage. The last one the shield can't cause damage but has a larger effectiveness level in protection. The creature tree is the hardest to get and the best of any of the other cards. Making them is the same step as the creature cards but the reference images shouldn't be animals.

Base of the Game Board

First, start a new sketch and label it. then make a circle. its dimensions should be 609.6mm. Then make a smaller circle on the edge with dimensions of 101.6mm. Then extrude the bigger circle to dimensions of 25.4mm. then extrude the smaller circle with dimensions 31.75mm.

Path One

Second, create a new sketch on top of the large circle and make a curved line around the edge of the large circle then offset it by 12.7mm. then extrude that line by 6.35mm

Third, make a new sketch and create random straight-edge quadrilaterals along the top of the path. Then extrude them in step-like dimensions.

Offset Path

Fourth, offset both sides of the path by 3.175mm then add a fillet of 1mm.

Starting the Castle and Finishing the Path

Fifth, Make a new sketch on the big circle create multiple circles around the path in varying sizes then add a circle at the end of the path. After creating the base for the castle by making a large and a small interlocking circle. Then extrude the circle at the end of the path by 6.35mm. Then extrude the circles around the path with the biggest dimension of 12.7mm and the smallest of 3.175mm.

Second Step for Castle

Extrude the largest circle to 50.8mm, then the smaller one to 76.2mm. then make two more interlocking circles at 50.8mm and 76.2 mm from the top of the big circle. Then Offset the furthest left circle by 6.35mm.

Mote

Make a circle encompassing the castle and then offset it and make it a whole 12.7mm deep. Then make a construction plane that cuts the castle in half. After that make a curved line over the mote and extrude the sketch.

Mote Rocks

Make irregular and random polygons because this is supposed to look natural. then extrude them to match the height of the big circle base.

Staring Point

First, make four Identical rectangular prisms by using the pattern tool. Then make two rectangles one larger than the other. bring down the first one to 3.175mm and the second one to 6.35mm

Mushroom Path

Start by making two vertical construction planes each one going in opposite directions. then make circles just peeking out of the ground. Next, extrude them in varying lengths.

Lilly Pads

First, make a sketch on top of the board. Then, make circles with dimensions 12.7mm. Then sketch acute triangles on top of the circles. After that make the triangles into circles 12.7mm deep.

Cliff Rocks Around the Mote and Castle Turrets.

repeat step 11 but make the rocks come off the board. take the inner circle that was made before and extrude it. Then on the skinniest tower and offset the circle by 3.175mm. Then create a whole that is 6.35mm deep. then add a filet of 1mm.

Card Holders

Make two rectangles one three times as large as the other than make the rectangles a whole 12.7mm deep.

Gem Path

Create irregular polygons, octagons work the best. Then extrude them in either dimensions of 12.7mm or 6.35mm with a degree of 8. Then create a separate sketch on top of each shape then trace the shape. After that extrude the 12.7mm shapes by 6.35mm and the 6.35mm shapes by 3.175mm and a degree of 14.

Mushroom Path

For the mushroom path, create a circle and extrude it by 6.35mm. Then make smaller circles of dimensions 12.7mm and 6.35mm on the larger circle (this circle was in previous photos). Then extrude the smaller circles by 25.4mm (12.7mm circles) and 12.7mm (6.35mm circles). After that make a sketch on each stem with dimensions of 25.4mm (12.7mm circles) and 12.7mm (6.35mm circles). Then extrude those circles by half the stem and a degree of 8. Then add a filet of 5. then make two rectangles make one extrude up and the other one goes down to make a well. Then add a fillet of 2mm.

Duplicating Diamonds and Gems

Chose the pattern tool and make it square. Duplicate as many times as desired. This does take away from the natural part a little bit. do this for both the gems and mushrooms.

End Point

Create two sketches on the baseboard connecting both the end and mushroom path to the castle. Then make five cylinders that have the dimensions of 3.175mm and a filet of 2mm across the bridge to the end. Then make a circle about the same size as the gem circle and add two vertical rectangular prisms one at 25.4mm and 12.7mm tall.

Finishing the Castle (final Step)

Create a rectangle on top of the lowest cylinder then use the extrude tool to hollow it out going vertically. Then add a fillet of 1mm. After that add a fillet of 14mm to the top of the castle. Finally, add an offset sketch of 3.175mm and use the extrude tool to create a turret, and add a fillet of 1mm.
