DIY RGB Desk Name Plate

RGB Desk Name Plate for a grand piece on your Office Desk.

1. 12v RGB LED Strip - 16cm length

2. 9v Battery with terminal cap - 1

3. 3mm Acrylic sheet - 150mm X 50mm - 1

4. Wire - 2 colours each of 10cm

5. Switch - 15mmx10mm - 1 .

6. 3D Printed Parts

7. CNC Machine for engraving

I have provided Fusion360 file and STEP file so you can give your name on Name Plate. Otherwise you can use simply STL file with no name.

Note: Support needed.

Dimensions are 150mm x 50mm.

Engrave your Name on Acrylic sheet using CNC Machine.

Note : DIY Hack!!! If you don't have CNC Machine...
Step 1 : Print Your name on paper and stick on Acrylic sheet or use marker to write your name on Acrylic sheet.

Step 2 : Use sharp thing and start scratching (engraving) on Acrylic sheet.

Step 3 : Done!!

R, G, B should be connected on single wire.

Step 1 : Solder two wire on Switch.

Step 2 : Insert the Switch.

Step 3 : Slide the led strip and Bend it inside the battery side.

Step 4 : Insert the small circle part where you inserted the LED Strip.

Step 5: Wire Connection
LED (+) --> Switch --> Battery (+)

LED (-) --> Battery (-)

Step 6: Connect the Battery and close the Back Lid.

Step 7: Insert the Acrylic Plate in the Name Plate. RGB Desk
