RECORD FLOWERS

IMG_2498.JPG

I first made these flowers in 2001.They were PLANTED along one wall in my huge master bathroom. They are such fun.

Besides planting them on a wall in your house, or in a vase, you could PLANT them on a plank or a sheet of wood and PLANT them outside your home. On the patio. Or near the pool.

SUPPLIES:

  4. anchors and screws
  5. you will need a vase of some sort (if you don't want all your flowers on the wall)

SAFTY

I have never smelled any fumes while doing this.

JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SMELL THEM,

DOESN'T MEAN THEIR NOT THERE!

Please, use proper ventilation

REMOVE FROM OVEN

After 4 min your LP will look something like this. It is malleable at this point.

FORM INTO FLOWER

  1. while your record is warm, you can help shape it.
  2. you need to use oven mitts or a towel of some sort
  3. the records will be hot. but not for long. they cool quickly
  4. once they start to cool, you wont be able to shape them
  5. if this happens before you are satisfied with the shape of your flower, you can heat it again
