Description
RE-X1 is a useful droid companion capable of traversing rough terrain with his rotational tri wheel limbs. REX is a versatile droid, with many useful tools integrated into his rotary structural frame. A large back panel allows for access to these many tools for repairs and installation of newer updated tools. In addition, REX has two grippers that are stored in his cylindrical paneled body and a detachable lense that functions as the top of his head. While the primary purpose of this lense is for surveillance, REX has also launched it at unsuspecting threats as a last resort for his own self defense.
I had a lot of fun designing this droid. I was inspired by astromech droids, but wanted to add some different functionalities to create a unique personality that would fit within the star wars universe in both character and utility.
