R Direct Drive

The reason for this project is to combine E3DV6 hotend and the Orbiter extruder to create a small and lightweight direct driver.After more than two months of design and testing, it has the current appearance. The assembly is very simple.

2 M3 X 6 Socket Head Cap（4）；

3 M3 X 8 Socket Head Cap（2）；

4 M3 X 10 Socket Head Cap（2）；

5 M3 X 12 Socket Head Cap（4）；

6 M3 X 16 Socket Head Cap（4）；

7 M3 X 25 Socket Head Cap（4）；

8 M3 X 30 Socket Head Cap（1）；

9 M3 Hexagon nut（1）；

10 M3 Knurled Brass Nut（M3X4X4.5mm）（16）；

11 5015 fan;

12 3010 fan;

13 E3DV6 or E3DV6 CLONE or DRAGON or DRAGONFLY hotend;

14 the Orbiter V1.5 Extruder;

15 MGN12C Block；

Prepare required materials according to the list provided.

The insert nut can be heated with a soldering iron, nut type: M3 Knurled Brass Nut (M3X4X4.5mm).

3010 fan does not need screws.

Install the heating rod and thermistor on the E3DV6 first, and then fix it with M3X16.

Arrange the wires one by one.

Fix with M3X10 and M3X6 screws.

Fix with M3X12 screws.

Fix with M3X30 screw.

Fix with M3X25 screws.

Teflon tube length is 74.5mm.

Fix with M3X8 screws.

Fix with M3X6 and M3X12 screws.

Fix with M3X12 screws.
