R Direct Drive
The reason for this project is to combine E3DV6 hotend and the Orbiter extruder to create a small and lightweight direct driver.After more than two months of design and testing, it has the current appearance. The assembly is very simple.

Prepare the Bill of Materials
Prepare required materials according to the list provided.
Embed Nut on Print
The insert nut can be heated with a soldering iron, nut type: M3 Knurled Brass Nut (M3X4X4.5mm).
Install the 3010 Fan
3010 fan does not need screws.
Install E3DV6
Install the heating rod and thermistor on the E3DV6 first, and then fix it with M3X16.
Arrange the Wires
Arrange the wires one by one.
Install the MGN12C Block
Fix with M3X10 and M3X6 screws.
Install the Cooling Fan Duct
Fix with M3X12 screws.
Install the 5015 Fan
Fix with M3X30 screw.
Install the Belt
Fix with M3X25 screws.
Install Teflon Tubing
Teflon tube length is 74.5mm.
Install the Orbiter V1.5 Extruder
Fix with M3X8 screws.
Install 3dtouch or Bltouch
Fix with M3X6 and M3X12 screws.
Install the Harness Clip
Fix with M3X12 screws.
