Hi! Today I will be showing you how to make your own quilled clay pendant. These can be made in so many different shapes sizes and colors. And they're quite simple. This one took me about 5-8 minutes. It also depends on the design you chose to make.

Drawing the Shape

Draw a shape you want to use for your design. Use plenty of swirls while drawing for a quilled effect!

Shaping the Clay

Cut out strips of clay and use your clay to trace the lines of your drawing. It's okay if you can't make it the exact same as your drawing.

Make a Base

Make a base out of your clay. Make sure your design fits on the base. Before baking, attached your unbaked design. If the the clay of the design is too soft then put it in the fridge for it to be one firm. Let it air dry or bake it in the oven depending on the type of clay. Add an eye pin before baking if you want it to be a pendant.

If you want glaze your charms with glossy or matte glaze.
