Quidditch Game

Hi, my name is Raymond and I go to Fairview High School and am currently in 9th grade.

I made a Harry Potter Quidditch Match simulator based off of the 90's levitation game. Since the Harry Potter series has decided to make another movie titled "The Cursed Child" , it has made a popular comeback in today's society. This game allows you to move around a golden snitch around the arena, scoring points by going through hoops and flying through the stands.

I used fusion 360 and a premade model of the golden snitch center piece.

Building the Base

Start by creating a circular 36" shell with air channels in two rows allowing for the "snitch" to move he board.

Adding the Obstacles

Next I began to build my arena complete with structures and hoops similar to that of the arena in the Harry Potter along with a linked file of the golden snitch as a center piece and knobs designed to control the movement. Many of the pieces were arrayed about the board to create a symmetrical and uniform models of each item.

Finishing Touches

I then went in and added some details to the model such as text, seating, and grates to indicate where the air channel is on the board.

Adding Textures

In this final step I added in a wood texture so the design would look complete.
