Another use for parts from the thrown-out microwave. I didn't go all diodes or capacitor on it. Someone else can.
110 VAC 60 Hz Internal Reduction Gear Motor

I don't know how common these are anymore in microwaves or other salvageable appliances.

Attach suitable LED. Don't remember what I pulled this one out of. Yes, not soldered up and no diffuser or reflector (yet).

Fashion some sort of hand-crank to the motor's drive-shaft. Or chuck the drive-shaft into a hand-drill, etc. Turn. You're done.
