Quick and Easy Spaghetti
This dish is spaghetti for those who want some pasta, but quickly. In this recipe, I will be showing you how to make spaghetti in about 45 minutes.
Supplies
Ingredients: Spaghetti noodles, Canned pasta sauce, Cheese, Salt, Pepper, and Hot Water.
Supplies: Pot (with lid), Spaghetti strainer, and a Mixing spoon.
Boil Water
Fill the pot with water about halfway and heat on the stove. Wait for it to start bubbling. This will take longer than 20 minutes.
Put Pasta
When the water starts bubbling, add a pinch of salt and dump the pasta in. Stir the pasta until it is cooked. If you are making pasta for yourself only, only use half of a packet. If you are making it for your family, and you need leftovers, (like I am doing), use 1 and a half packets.
Drain the Pasta
When the pasta has finished cooking, pour the contents from the pot, into the spaghetti strainer. Do this in the sink so that the hot water will go directly to the drain. Take the pasta which is in the spaghetti strainer and set it on a kitchen cloth on a countertop, and wait for it to cool.
Heat the Sauce
While you are waiting for the pasta to cool, take the pot and put it back on the stove. After you turn the stove on, pour the canned sauce into the pot. Pour about half of the bottle into the pot. Stir it until the sauce bubbles a little, this part will come a bit more quickly than expected. When it bubbles add the pepper and the salt. Add a teaspoon of each. Add a pinch of cheese too.
Mix Around
When the sauce bubbles a little, dump the cooled pasta into the sauce. Then mix it for 15 minutes.
Enjoy!
Now you have some spaghetti. Enjoy this wonderful dish.
