Materials Needed:
5 Cup or Larger Blender
1 Cutting Board
1 Knife
1 Strainer
1 Pint Glass
1 Spoon
Ingredients:
1 Banana
4-6 Fresh Strawberries
1 Pink Lady Apple
2 Cups of Spinach
1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
3 Tablespoons of Flax Seeds (Optional)
3 Teaspoons of Lemon Juice
Steps
Step 1:
Peel apple and cut into small chunks (to provide longevity to your blender). Cut the strawberries into halves, discarding the top with the green leaves.
Step 2:
Rinse the spinach, strawberries, and apple under cold water. Shake excess water off the ingredients.
Step 3:
Place banana, spinach, strawberries, and apple in blender. Add almond milk.
Step 4:
Blend on high for 1 minute or until all ingredients have turned into liquid.
Step 5
Pour into pint glass, then add flax seeds and lemon juice.
Step 6:
Stir with spoon until flax seeds have dissolved.
Step 7:
Clean up and enjoy a healthy green smoothie!
This recipe is completely customizable to any of your ideal fruits and vegetables.
*if smoothie is to watery for your liking try adding about a cup of ice cups and blend. Add more almond milk if the smoothie is too thick*
