Hi all,

i won a pair of skull candy aviators at a trade show a while back and they quickly became my go to headphones to travel with as they are comfortable for long trips and fold up. the only issue was they were wired and that was not what i wanted.

After several months of thinking up how do do this i finally decided an off the shelf Bluetooth adapter was the way to go. Total cost was under 20usd if you source a cheap cable.

Parts:

What i used:

Skull Candy Aviators or your favorite headphones:https://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-Aviator-Headphon...

Mpow streambot (bluetooth): https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-G...

Short 3.5mm jack lead (ebay might be cheaper):https://www.amazon.com/Valley-Enterprises-3-5mm-Ri...

3d printed holder(designed by me): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:983694

Streambot Assemble!

This is one of the easiest builds i have done.

simply print or order the 2d printed part, clip it in and slide in the mpow streambot.

All that is left is to plug in the audio cable.

and you are done!

the blue version lasted about 3-4 years and finally broke, but ill just print a new version!

thanks for watching. please let me know if you have any questions.

if you liked this pls vote for me.
