This is an idea someone showed me ages ago, and when i was making one with the sound effects for the latest play i'm Teching for, i realised that not many of my friends know how to make these cases, and i thought i would put them up on here, to share the knowledge :-D
Required
1 A4 (ish) piece of paper
1 CD
about 1 minute ( once you are practised)

First Fold
This is a bit of origami, but nothign tricky, if i'm not clear enough leave a comment and i will see what i can do to improve the clarity.
Fold the piece of paper over, BUT don't press down on the fold. The fold should be along the shorter side of the paper, so you have a long narrow piece of paper.
Gently press down onto the centre of the fold, but don't make the crease to deep.
Unfold. You should have something like the second picture.

Onwards!
Place the Cd so that the centre line which you created on the last step is in the centre as shown in the picture below.
yeah i know the pen isn't a permant one, but it will do for this cd :-P

More Folding!
Keeping the CD on the ceter line, fold one of the longer sides so that the edge of the fold is on the edge of the CD, yes the CD will be round, and the Papers Edge is square. Don't try and get the paper round, that's abit harder! lol!
Now repeat with the other side, so the CD is almost all enclosed now, except for a thin strip.
You know how well you have done the first few folds by how eqaul the two sides of paper are on the CD. If you look at the third picture you can see i didn't do too badly.

Almost There!
Slide the CD along this channel that you have made, and fold one of the shorter sides up now, so that it goes to about halfway up the CD.
The CD won't be centeral looking up-down in the picture below.
Now fold over the other side.
Just one more step! keep reading!

Final Step!
Now its time for the clever bit. If you look at what we have so far, you will see that the last two fold flap around quite abit, and the CD can still slide out if the paper is thrown around.
Unfold the last two folds and refold them in the reverse order, so that the short of the two is onto of the longer. This is for looks only :-D
If you look in the picture you can see the channel which the two side folds created.
What we are going to do is slide the longer of the two flaps inside this channel on the smaller flap.
If you look at the second picture, you may understand abit better, the flap on the left is the shorter one, the longer flap slides inside this channel.
Once you have just got it in, you should have somehting like the Third picture.
Now gentlly push the paper flat, you might need to feed more of the longer flap in, it should end up like the fith picture.
And there you have it! Throw it around, see how well it stays shut, and yet it can be opened easily, and reclosed.
Write what is on the CD onto the paper, and there you go! no excuse for scratched CD's again.
Total cost? £0 ( Yes I do live in England WOOO!)
Most people will have a piece of paper lying around, if not, a ream of 500 sheets only costs ã1-3, depending on where yoou get one.
Hope this has helped some people out there, :-D
