Quick Leather Necklace Out of Small Scraps

Basically every leatherworker has a box of scrap leathers at home, storing those for the day they finally know what to do with them. I am also that kind of leatherworker - and as a person who hates waste, I always think of ways to use even the smallest piece of leather. And here is an intruction to put even very small scaps to use.
This instruction also is:
- extremely quick
- very easy (also achievable by a kinder gardener)
- not many tools necessoary (no special leather tools)
So please have fun.
Supplies

What you need to make this project:
- leather scraps (up to 1,5mm thickness is perfect)
- PVA glue
- a brush for the glue
- some acrylic pencils
- a cutter or some scissors
- a leather cord or another plain chain to put those leather charms on
- wire scraps with a cross cut of 2,5 mm²
Cutting Scraps

Cut some random forms out of your leather scraps. I even put some leather scraps that remained from cutting circles out of leather to some use that way.
Glue Preparation

Delude the PVA glue with a little bit of water (this step is not absolutely necessary but will make your life a little easier)
Glueing

Use the PVA glue and a brush and put the glue on the flesh side (the "bad side) of the leather. Make sure to cover everything in a thin film
Folding

Fold the leather over the wire and press thight and try to emphasize the folding area with atool of your choice (I used a bone folder).
Repeat With the Other Scraps

Removing

When the glue completely dried remove the charms from the wire.
Cutting

Cut the charms in random forms you like. No need for regularity.
Edge Painting

Use the acrylic pens to paint the edges.
Assembly

When the edge paint has dried, assemble your necklace. I put mine on a white leather cord with a diameter of 2mm . You can use whatever chain you like or already have.
