Round 3:-

1 Single Crochet, 2 Double Crochet in the 1st Stitch.

Skip 2 stitches.

In the next stitch make (1 Single Crochet, 2 Double Crochets)

Skip 2.

Repeat((1SC,2DC), skip 2)

At the end you will have 3 Stitches left, Skip 2 Stitches and make 1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.

Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain method to make the Turning Chain.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-

Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .

  1. Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
  2. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  3. Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
  4. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
  5. Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
  6. Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
  7. This will make one Double Crochet.
