Meet my friend Robin !!!

Hello Guys !! Today I have made a Quadropod. It's a very fun project to make at home. So if you want to make it follow the steps given below. ENJOY !!

Components :-

  1. Arduino Nano x1
  2. Arduino Nano Shield x1
  3. Servos x12
  4. Body ( I have used 3D printed body)
  5. 3.7v Lithium 18650 Batteries x2
  6. Battery Holder (That make the batteries in series) x1
  7. Switch x1 (Optional)

Assembly :-

  1. Every body can be assembled in a different way. If you have 3D printed it kindly see the instructions from where you have got the STL files and follow that.
  2. USE THE GIVEN SCREWS TO ATTACH THE SERVOS.
  3. A Quadropod as three main joints :- Hip - Knee - Ankle
  4. Hip servo is the one attached with the main frame of the robot.
  5. The knee servo is the middle one.
  6. The ankle Servo is the leg one.
  7. Firstly make the legs by inserting the servos as intended. You can refer to a video if you need any help. Make all four legs.
  8. Then take the knee joint part and insert the servo as well. Make all four knee parts.
  9. Lastly Attach the hip servo to the main frame.
  10. Don't attach the caps yet.

CODE 1 :-

  1. Take your Arduino shield and fix the Arduino Nano in it.
  2. Then connect your Arduino to the computer with the help of given cable.
  3. Now you need to download the Arduino IDE App from their website.
  4. (LINK :-https://www.arduino.cc/en/software).
  5. Next open the legs program given.
  6. Then connect the battery and the cable at the same time as the servos will initialize the position and will be needing power.
  7. After uploading the program the servos will be initialized.
  8. Keep the robot connected and fix the caps at this position of the robot shown in the above mp.4 file (LEGS).

Finishing UP :-
