I wanted to make earring puzzle pieces using actual puzzle pieces but I did not have a puzzle lying around so I made them from scratch.

Supplies

I used:
1. Model magic air dry clay
2. 4 popsicle sticks, optional
3. Rolling pin
4. Exacto knife
5. LG needle or toothpick
6. Sandpaper
7. Paint in colors of your choice
8. Paintbrush
9. Water for rinsing brush
10. Earring hoops
11. Different lengths chain
12. 24 jump rings
13. 6 spacer beads (decided at the end)
14. Gloss sealer, optional
15. pliers pliers

Step 1

Roll out Model Magic to thickness you desire, popsicle sticks can help. If you have puzzle pieces already, just poke a hole in each piece.

Step 2:

Cut some puzzle shapes in clay. Using toothpick put a hole in each piece for jump ring

Step 3

When clay is dry, carefully seperate the pieces and lightly sand edges. Apply paint to both sides

Step 4:

Put a jumpring through the hole in each piece and add a jumping onto the first one. Connect a piece of chain and put other end of chain onto the earring hoops. At last minute I decided to add a bead in between chains, a spacer. You can spray or brush on a sealer if you'd like. Enjoy
