1. Spend a large amount of your time and energy brainstorming a truly original idea.
2. Spend more time, energy, and money on staging a DIY photo studio in your home to take quality photos.
3. Lastly, spend what’s left of your precious free time writing an extremely thorough and easily-digestible instructable.
4. You will lose to instructables entries that recycle old, unoriginal ideas, aren’t written as well, and have lower-quality photos all because of some bias of the judges that you won’t understand.
