Punisher TACT Vest

This a redo of an older project

This was the original piece. I cut out a t-shirt from walmart and used spray adhesive. Didn't last long at all.
Back to the Drawing Board

I cut the eyes, nose, and initial shape out of the original piece and layed it over a stretch of cardboard. Then sprayed a coat of paint to transfer the pattern. From there I cut it out using an exacto knife.
Material

I used an old tact vest that I had tucked away in a closet. I removed the kevlar linings cause it would be too much weight for cosplay or even for display purposes hanging on a hook.
The Stencil

I took the shirt pattern and transferred it onto cardboard. Once I cut it out I layed the outline on the vest (taping up what I didn't want painted) and sprayed my first coat of grey paint. I decided to go with grey for the Punisher Warzone look.
Back to the Drawing Board

I found that spray paint won't stick to velcro at all. So, I took the original pattern that I had and glued it to the vest using a strong fabric adhesive.
Still in Progress
Will post soon....
