Ingredients.
You'll need:
15 ounces of canned pumpkin (1 small can or 1/2 big can of Libby's Pumpkin...not pumpkin pie filling)
and 1 box of Spice cake!
Dump the pumpkin and the spice cake into mixer.
Do not add any other ingredients. No eggs, oil or water...
Just Mix together.
The pumpkin adds just enough moistness to the cake mix and makes a thick and creamy batter.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased muffin pan...or into cupcake liners.
Bake 350* for about 15-20 minutes.

Variations!
Basically the muffins are good enough to eat!
But there are a couple variations that we've done that are fun.
Adding mini chocolate chips is a great one. Do this before plopping into muffin pan.
Or, try adding some cream cheese frosting and spiders to the top!

Cream Cheese Frosting!
Mix
1 block (8 oz) of cream cheese softened
4 oz of whipped topping
1/3 cup sugar.
And it made way more than we needed...but it saves well.
Filled the piping bag and put a generous daub on top of each muffin.
We used black candy melts in a piping bag for the spider legs.
And Brookside chocolates for the spider body and head.
