Pumpkin Scones
I love pumpkin and I love scones! So a couple years ago I found this awesome recipe online that I added my own little kick to. Pumpkin scones are a great delectable fall treat! They are fairly easy to make too! Here are some ingredients you will need:
The scones:
2 cups of flour
1/3 cup of light brown sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t ground ginger
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of toasted walnut
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 t vanilla
Egg Wash:
1 Egg
1 T cream
The scones:

1 Egg
1 T cream
Dry Ingredients
Place all dry ingredients into a bowl and whisk together and chocolate chips if desirable. Also put the walnuts on a baking sheet and place in the oven on 350 for 10 min. Add walnuts to the dry ingredients.
Wet Ingredients
Mix butter milk, pumpkin puree and vanilla set asibe.
The Dough
Cut the butter into squares and mix in with a pastry blender. Mix the dry and wet ingredients just until combined. On a floured surface kneed the dough for a minuet or so and form into a 1-2 inch thick circle. Cut out the scones in wedge shapes. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix the egg and cream and brush the mixture onto all the scones using a pastry brush. Now bake in the oven at 400 degrees F for 15- 20 min. Tak out and let cool for about 10 min.
