Pumpkin, a light and nutritious food

It is a food rich in water and fiber, with low calories, ideal for overweight people and digestive problems. In addition, pumpkin contains beta-carotene, an antioxidant component.

Pumpkin is a versatile food: we can well find it in soups, creams, stews, as well as in desserts. Here we will learn how to make a delicious pumpkin hot cake to take advantage of all the benefits they contain.

Many times Pancakes or Hot cakes are used as synonyms, but they are not.

Milk, egg and flour are the common factors that these preparations have. However, the results are quite different and their way of consuming them, too.

The main difference is that hot cakes use raising or baking powder to make them tall and fluffy. Sometimes yeast is also added to them.
