Pulse Sensor Heart Rate Track
The purpose of our project was to create a fun and competitive interactive heart rate monitor. The participant measures their heart rate using a pulse sensor attached with a velcro cuff. This heart rate measurement correlates directly to whether the launcher launches a hot wheels car or not. If the participant has a bpm over 90, the hot wheels car will be accelerated through the launcher. So get moving and start racing!

- Servo Wheels
- PLA
- A 3D printer of your choice
- Any standard dimension hot wheels car
- Arduino Uno
- USB 2.0 Cable Type A/B
- Breadboard
- Jumper Wires
- 100 ohm Resistor
3D Print the Motor Housing
Download the provided .stl file and print using an available 3D printer. Set printer up for PLA specifications with 5% infill. Note that unless your printer has an extra-large build plate, parts will have to be printed separately.

Prepare Code
Use the provided MATLAB code to read the pulse from the pulse sensor and output the user's heart rate.
Breadboard Circuit
Wire the necessary components together using the provided images.
Connect the Components
Place the servo motors in the pockets beside the track, plug in your Arduino to the USB port of your computer, and prepare your racer.
